The investment objective of the Fund is to replicate, before the Fund's fees and expenses, the performance of the Risk Weighted Enhanced Commodity Ex. Grains Index TR at closing level. The Index is created by Société Générale, calculated and published by Standard & Poor's.
The Risk Weighted Enhanced Commodity Ex Grains Index TR* provides investors with a systematic long-only exposure to a diversified basket of futures commodities contracts (excluding Grains) aiming at reducing volatility. Created by Société Générale (the Index Sponsor) and S&P (the Index Provider) the index intends to obtain a portfolio that includes a selection of 20 commodities** weighted inversely proportionally to their risk level. The allocation gives more weights to the least volatile commodity, allowing for significant risk reduction and better diversification. The strategy provides additional benefits thanks to an enhanced roll mechanism which aims at reducing costs of rolling positions on the individual commodity futures contracts when in contango or benefiting from backwardation. The constituents are rebalanced on a monthly basis by S&P, which calculates and publishes on a real time and end of day basis the Risk Weighted Enhanced Commodity Ex Grains Index TR.
The Euro share class of the Fund is denominated in a currency different to that of the index that it tracks, which means that exchange rate fluctuations could have a negative effect on returns.
* TR, means total Return, the index methodology includes interests generated by a fully collateralized investment in 3 months US T-bill.
** Portfolio constitutents are sub-indices of S&P GSCI Enhanced and Dynamic indices on individual commodities.

The fund uses synthetic replication to track the performance of the Index. Therefore, the Fund holds a basket of stocks called a "substitude basket" and an index swap. The substitute basket is a selection of stocks that are included in the index composition or that can be different from the latter one. The index swap is a contract between the ETF and one or more counterparties according to which the ETF pays to the counterparty(ies) the performance of the substitute basket and receives from the counterparty(ies) the performance of the index. For the sake of transparency, Ossiam publishes the full composition of the ETF assets (with a delay of 2 working days due to index provider constraints).
